When the Comptroller and Auditor General has finalised a Value for Money or Special Report it is presented to the relevant Minister to arrange for it to be laid before the Oireachtas. The report must be laid before the Oireachtas within three months of the date it was presented to the Minister

Public Sector Financial Reporting for 2015
The Comptroller and Auditor General has completed an examination of financial reporting by public bodies in respect of periods of account ending in 2015. The report was sent to the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform on 11 October 2017. Under the provisions of the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act 1993, the Minister is required to present the report to Dáil Éireann within three months of the date on which the report was submitted to him.
